The tablet PC as a time study recording device
ORTIM a6 for Windows® tablets has been specially developed for use as a time study device and for recording work sampling studies. The application features an intuitive user interface, with the keys being arranged to suit the user’s specific needs. You have direct access to all measuring functions, enabling you to respond quickly to events. The user interface design allows you to concentrate fully on the activity under observation. You can enter texts conveniently using a stylus on the touchscreen with integrated handwriting recognition.
If studies are started spontaneously the integrated onscreen keyboard can also be used. Use the camera and the microphone built into your tablet to assign photo, video and audio files directly to the selected work cycle element or the whole study.
While not in use for work measurements the device can be used as a tablet PC with full Windows functionality. Use tablet PCs with the proven Microsoft operating system (from Windows® 8.1).
Freely configurable
ORTIM a6 for Windows® can be adapted to any type of time study and to any evaluation rules. A virtually unlimited number of timers allows you to perform all types of work measurements for multiple activity work: You can record both cyclic and non-cyclic work processes at the same time. It is possible to mark measured values by selection features for instance to record batches and to analyze them separately.
Standard time codes (SCOs) and influence factors enable you to generate standard time formulas subsequently on the basis of your work measurements. You can enter texts for each measured value. The user-friendly and powerful ORTIMzeit software is available for analyzing your work measurements.
